13 October 2008: My grandmother's funeral at Gwehelog Chapel was very moving and although slightly unusual I thought I would show you the beautiful horse drawn hearse which took her on her final journey. Please click here to view the photos.

12 September 2008: Sadly my dear grandmother Margaret (Maggie) Baynham (nee James) died at home on the 9th of September aged 96. The funeral will be at Gwehelog Chapel on the 18th of September at 12pm.

28 September 2007: New photos of my great great aunt Ada Maud Small (nee Baynham) with her husband and children.

Also: Letters from my great great grandfather Henry Baynham to his future wife Alice Rooke while he was a police constable in Collington, Herefordshire in 1874 and 1875.

10 January 2007: The Last Will and Testament of my gggg grandfather William George of Gwehelog 1854.

9 January 2007: The family tree has been updated with new information about the Jenkins family, the George family and the Willmer family.

I have also started putting online "Contemporary Portraits and Biographies of Men and Women of South Wales and Monmouthshire" published in 1897.

18 November 2006: The family tree has been updated with new information about my ggggg grandfather William Parry born about 1755 and his family.

13 November 2006: The family tree has been updated with new information on the family of William Lewis who married Louisa Parry in 1847. There is a connection by marriage with this Lewis family and Esther Crockett, the sister of Elizabeth Crockett who married Edward James in 1815.

New information on the Davies family from Penrose, Monmouthshire which connects to the Eastup family from Llanvair Kilgeddin.

Burials found at Glyntaff Cemetery, Pontypridd for Thomas and Alice James and their son Thomas. Also for Ada Cale Rees (nee James) her husband Thomas and son Arthur.

30 August 2006: More Extreme Family History - my mother Anne has had her mitochondrial DNA analyzed which traces her maternal ancestry back 20,000 years.

29 August 2006: New information on the Beach/Beech family in the family tree. Benjamin Beech married my great great great aunt Elizabeth Pritchard in 1874 in Trostrey, Monmouthshire.

23 August 2006: New infomation on the Ellaway family including the deaths of Thomas Ellaway in 1862 and his wife Ann in 1866 and the marriage of their daughter Sarah to William Howells in 1860. Also photographs of Howells family gravestones at Gwehelog Chapel in Monmouthshire.

9 August 2006: The family tree has been updated with new information on the descendents of Alphonso Cale James and Thomas James born about 1831 in Cwmcarvan, Monmouthshire. Also details of the death of Alice James formerly Owens, the wife of Thomas James born 1852 in Cwmcarvan.
